I grew up in Honolulu where I spent a lot of time skateboarding and playing soccer as a kid.
Initially, I wanted to pursue architecture, as it seemed to be a great blend of my two favorite things: art and science. Eventually, I decided that computer science offered me more opportunities for growth in solving larger problems in the world, so I chose to study it at UH Manoa. Luckily, web design still satisfies that creative itch of mine.
Now I'm diving into the world of computer vision and robotics which has been addictively interesting so far.
